Cara uses watercolour paint, masking fluid, sprinkles of gold dust and some gold leaf to create these large paintings. Working in a kind of stream of consciousness way the paintings take form during the process. Cara is interested in the fundamentals, both microcosm and macrocosm, from which reality as we perceive it, emerges.
